Midwestern State University Flower Mound Campus

Randy Canivel, a Vernon, Texas native, is a homegrown Mustang of Midwestern State University (MSU- Texas). He earned his Bachelor’s of Business Administration in 2005 and his Master’s of Kinesiology in 2009.  From 2005-2014 Randy served as Assistant Director of the Student Wellness Center, Chairman of the MSU-Burns Fantasy of Lights, and faculty in the West College of Education.  

From 2014 - 2017 he was full-time faculty at Southern Methodist University in the Department of Applied Physiology & Wellness.  Randy returned to back to MSU back in June to oversee the MSU Texas - Flower Mound initiative, and he is eager to grow Midwestern State in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metro area.
