Several members of the Lewisville Noon Rotary club recently were recognized for their continuing support of the Paul Harris Society. The Paul Harris Society recognizes Rotarians who elect to contribute $1,000 or more each year to the Paul Harris Fund, PolioPlus Fund, or approved global grants. The club receives back 50% of member contributions to the Paul Harris Foundation after three years, paid out by the District Designated Fund (DDF) and global grants, when we allocate matching funds raised through our own fundraising efforts. Lewisville Noon Rotary has used these grants to fund the LISD food banks, among other initiatives that benefit the local community.

Once you’re a Paul Harris Foundation member, your status is perpetual and your contributions are cumulative. For every additional $1,000 in contributions (whether paid in directly or through points donated by the club or other contributors), you get an additional “level” of Paul Harris; e.g., Paul Harris + 1. Each of the club members shown above has achieved multiple-level status, with Jay Agarwal leading the pack at Paul Harris + 8. Thank you to all of our generous Rotarians for their ongoing support of The Rotary Foundation.
