Once again, we had Tom Gionetti with the Institute for Policy Innovation speak to our group at last Wednesday's meeting. Tom covered another "civics" lesson in discussing the 3 branches of federal government: Executive, Legislative and Judicial. Tom mentioned that it's his belief that the founders of our constitution feared that the judicial branch might eventually become too powerful if the other branches of government fail to maintain their proper check and balance.
