Our guest speaker for 9-18-2019 is Marc Moffitt, Senior Analyst for the Denton Central Appraisal District, brought to us by member and former school board president Mr. Joe Irick. Marc informed the club on the history of appraisal districts in Texas and the overall process used to appraise property and how taxing entities in Denton County use those appraisals to assess property taxes.
