Club member and Communications Chair Leslie Thompson, pictured above with fellow Rotarian Fred Busche, picked the winning card for the 50/50 drawing at the end of last week's meeting. Leslie will receive 50% of the funds that have accumulated in the pot, which rolls over week to week until someone pulls the Joker card. The other 50% goes toward the myriad charities that the Lewisville Noon Rotary supports.
How much was the final tally? The number currently remains a mystery, since John Jennings, who records the running total, was absent from the meeting.
