Our District 5790 Governor and leadership are challenging us to "Become a Vibrant Club by Design, Not by Chance!"
District 5790 has developed a visioning resource called the Action Planning Tool. It is a brief survey that each club member is requested to complete in order to help Lewisville Noon Rotary chart its course into the future.
Please take five minutes to provide your feedback on our club and help set the direction of Lewisville Noon Rotary and District 5790 for the future.
The 2019 Grand Ball is in the books but what a great event. Several Rotarians involved and our Interact Club, too!
Once again, Lewisville Noon Rotary comes through again for the LISD Grand Ball held on Saturday, March 30, 2019 on the campus of Lewisville High School. Approximately 30 Rotarians and their family members participated along with 4 members of the LHS Rotary Interact Group. The effort was once again led by our own, Mary Jennings, who expertly put together the teams of servers. The food was provided by Bistecca and its owner and Executive Chef and honorary Rotarian, Morris Salerno. Over 400 attendees, escorts and parents were served in a great community event. The Grand Ball is something that the Noon Rotary has supported for the past several years with funding and service. Lewisville Noon Rotary is part of Rotary International with over 1.2 million members in over 200 countries and territories around the world. For more information about Rotary and its impact on our community, go to www.lewisvillenoonrotary.com.
We celebrated yet another great student of the month for March in Erin Leal. Erin is actually ranked #3 in her class of almost 1200 students who will graduate in May. Pictured from left to right are Mr. and Mrs. Leal (Erin's parents); Melissa DeWitt, Rotary President; Erin Leal; and Dr. Jeffrey Kajs, LHS Principal.
So grateful to have Gene Davenport and John Pokorny at last Wednesday's meeting to go over the results of the survey for our future strategic plan. There were some very interesting results of the survey and our club will need to analyze those results to decide what they mean to us for the future. Any member can see the results on our website by clicking the blue RESULTS button in the top right-hand corner of the opening page of our site. Thanks to all who participated!
