Blood Drive A Success!

Service Committee Chairman, Troy Kuecker, reports we exceeded our blood donations goal and hit 18 donations!

As shared by Troy, "A BIG Thank You to all Rotary members and their family members who donated!  It was a great team effort from club!!!"

We have a new participation level to beat for our next blood drive!

Thanks again to Blue Bell for providing a sweet thanks to those who are helping to save lives!

Ogie Shaw Visits LNR

On March 7th, Noon Rotary welcomed international fitness and wellness expert, Ogie Shaw. Mr. Shaw, an Army veteran and proud University of North Carolina Tar Heel, shared his wealth of knowledge and life experiences on living well through exercise.

our Newest Rotarian!

On March 14th, Noon Rotary welcomed its newest member, Jugal (Jay) Agarwal. Jay was inducted into Noon Rotary, transferring his membership from Minneapolis University Rotary Club.

Jay is no stranger to Rotary Global Grants, leading a project in 2016 to construct 132 toilets in rural India.  Currently, he is working on another global grant project to make and distribute sanitary napkins to poor school children in India.

He also leads many other non-profit work outside Rotary, mostly related to the welfare of disabled people in India.

Introduce yourself to Jay and let's get him plugged into serving in our community!

Welcome Jay!!

Horizontal Line

from The Committees

On February 14th, the club received updates from many of its committee chairs on current activities and what remains for our club year.

Membership: We are up one member, but need five more to meet our goal for the year.

Communications: Using the weekly newsletter to share information on past activities, adding more content from Rotary International, focusing on more social media use (including the new Instagram account) to build the Rotary brand, and looking for volunteers to serve in communications and public relations.

Foundation: Our work impacted Honduras and Belize, we tripled our giving to the District, doubled our Polio Plus contributions, and are closing in on 100% Paul Harris Fellow membership. New club records were set with Paul Harris Society membership within our club.

Fundraising: Our big fundraiser, the golf tournament is fast approaching and the new Patriot (Flag) Program begins in June.

Service: We established and supported two food banks at LHS, participated in the adoption fair, served through special abilities, adopt-a-spot, night of honor, the upcoming Grand Ball and Bunny Breakfast.

Youth: A banner year for our Interact Club, with exceptional leadership through club President Esha Harish and her 100 member club.
